Well, actually I knew a lot about it.

Anyway,its a stereotype because most Americans don't even know much about Canada, especially the youth who call Canada "gay" just because of the fact that in America it's cooler to be black, as opposed to being a "super white dude that looks like a ghost" which calling someone that is not even an insult. They cannot help if they are white can't you understand that? It's not something to insult someone with because they are white. Another reason I think people hate Canada is because they don't like Avril Lavigne. Well at least I think most of the American youth has that reason to hate Canada,while adults have more fact-based opinions and aren't as fiery and strongly opinionated about it as youth (A.k.a. 16-18 yrs. old who only hate Avril because she is something that younger more impressionable people (a.k.a.11-15 yrs. old) are listening to. Now of course, the older kids want to have nothing to do with that, and get all bitchy and say stuff like but not limited to, "GO BACK TO CANADA AVRIL" and then begin starting to think everyone in Canada is like Avril(i.e.poser,tries to be punk,etc.)

Basically what I'm saying is that if America and Canada don't start getting along soon, and turn it around and at least be civil, some serious war is gonna break out.

P.S. It makes me sick to the bone when people base their hatred of Canada on stupid pathetic stereotypes that dont have any real facts.
